At the end of December, schools across the GIA family in China and Japan held the first ever Rise Up for Performing Arts (RUPA) awards, celebrating the talents of students in all grades in the performing arts, from film making, original songs to art and piano performances. Each school held an award ceremony and Griggs China gifted the winners and runners up with a certificate and cash prize of $100 for the winners and $50 for the runners up across two grade categories: grades 5 to 9 and grades 10 to 12.
2020年12月(yuè)底，GIA中國和(hé)日本的(de)學校舉行了(le)有史以來(lái)的(de)首次“冉冉之星表演藝術獎（RUPA）”頒獎典禮，以表彰來(lái)自各個(gè)年級的(de)同學們在電影(yǐng)制作、原創歌(gē)曲和(hé)藝術表演等方面展現出來(lái)的(de)才華。每一所學校都舉行了(le)頒獎典禮，格裏格斯中國辦公室向5-9年級組以及10-12年級組冠軍和(hé)亞軍獲獎者頒發了(le)證書(shū)和(hé)現金獎，冠軍獎金100美(měi)元，亞軍獎金50美(měi)元。

“She's a perfectionist to her fingertips. She is the first student who told me she will participate in the RISE UP Program, and she is also the last one to hand in her video. She made the video all by herself, after the modifications over and over again. And she never gave up, I'm so proud of her.”
